3P Engineering at Ecomondo 2017

3P Engineering is participating in Ecomondo, the leading Euro-Mediterranean area green and circular economy expo, with its innovative project Chimera, linked to the circular economy. Ecomondo is an international event with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform: from material and energy recovery to sustainable development. 3P takes up the challenge, tracing out the path for the management of chickens’ manure, thanks to Chimera.

The innovative pilot plant by 3P Engineering is able to transform the chicken manure in fertilizer and thermal and electrical energy in the farm, for the sustenance of the company, according to the circular economy paradigm. Chimera is a “ready and easy to use” solution, which works in small farms or farm districts (poultries) and/or eggs production laying hen. The plant is limited in size, and can be installed within any farm dimension. Thanks to its innovation, Chimera has been selected to receive the EU financing of the LIFE programme.
